Irreplaceable
Sailing away on a September’s dream
Why did you notice me?
Tip toeing throwing a field of daisies
Do you understand who raised me?
I cast my cares into a jar, tightly
I sometimes forget to unharness my mind at nighttime
Feeling loosely, down below, for what’s underneath my feet
Hard times roll around so fast
I can hardly heave
Am I hearing spectators or is it just me?
My countenance is sure.
I am sacred.
Pure.
Would you have noticed me if I weren’t me?
Or if I was an essence of a fictitious thing
My words can be jarring, so I hold them back.
Would you be ready if I ever truly attacked?
I try to remain unattached
But in reality that’s not plausible
I’m irreplaceable and that’s a fact!
I wish you the best -
On your own separate track.
