My name is Lela Mays.

I am a creative writer with a Master’s degree in Film & Media Studies. In my free time, I like to watch movies and television shows and read fascinating books that open my imagination even more. In the downtime, however, one of my favorite hobbies has been writing poems.

After graduating with a degree in Human Development, I spent a year contemplating my existence during the horrific time known as 2020. In that year, I became more intrigued with different media outlets than ever before. I also saw that I had a knack for forming words from the chambers of my heart. So, I went back to school to major in English and study Film and Media studies.

Today, I’m learning more and more about the Film industry (to one day enter it & conquer it!). I’m also learning more about myself & my power.
